WATCH: Duterte Approves OFW IDs Which Can Serve as Beep Cards for MRT/LRT and for Applying For Jobs Abroad!

We overheard that President Duterte recently approved the card system for OFWs.

According to Secretary Ernesto Abella, by the use of the ID, transactions will be faster.

The card can also be used on MRT and LRT. It can also be used as a debit or ATM card when the OFW bank would be operational.



The OFW ID will be launched this March while the OFW bank will be operational this November.
